Tibetan Spaniel - Illustrated Breed StandardWhen reading a breed standard for the first time, it is often difficult to visualize what is meant by "10 inches at the withers" or "hare-footed". This illustrated breed standard is meant to give you a better understanding of the correct size and proportions of a Tibetan Spaniel. There are many look-alikes (dogs that look like Tibbies but have unknown pedigrees). Don't be fooled into thinking that a dog that weighs 30 pounds is a Tibetan Spaniel. If you have any questions, ask a knowledgeable, reputable Tibetan Spaniel breeder.
