Photo Submission Instructions

Image Submission Guidelines for the Gallery & Website

  • The image resolution should be 72dpi
  • The image size should be no larger than 700 pixels on the longest side
  • Save as a JPEG/jpg image file
  • Do not use spaces, periods or apostrophes. Use "-" or "_" to separate words
  • Use the dog's name and subject for the image name (e.g. Lily_Sleeping.jpg, Andy-Lily-playing-with-toy.jpg)

If you would like to submit your photo for consideration for use on Tibbies.net, please send as an email attachment to Jan Allinder. Please include your name and your dog's name.

Pedigrees

If your dog does not yet appear in the database, you'll need to Add the Pedigree first.

Submission Guidelines for Pedigrees Only

  • The image resolution should be 72dpi
  • The image size should be no larger than 400 pixels on the longest side
  • Save as a JPEG/jpg image file
  • Use the dog's registered name for the image name (i.e. Tashi-Lil-Li-of-Yontan.jpg)
  • Do not use spaces, periods or apostrophes. Use "-" or "_" to separate words
  • Do not include titles within the image name

If you have a photo of your dog on the Internet, please include the address (URL) of the photo on the Pedigree form. The link should point directly to the image. The URL for the photo might look something like this:
http://www.tibbies.net/images/mydogsphoto.jpg

If you have a digital image of your dog but do not have it loaded on a web site, send it to us as an email attachment.
