How to Search on the Database
There are several ways to search within the database…Basic, Advanced, Breeder, Common Ancestors and Stud Dog. Below are instructions for Basic and Advanced Searches.
Basic Search

The basic search allows you to search for entries based on Name (Registered name), Reg. No (Registration Number), Color, or DOB (Date of Birth).

There are two places to access the Basic Search capability.
a) In the menu bar and then select ‘Search’ in the pull down
b) Or click on Search on the home page below Pedigrees and Health Results

2. This will take to the Animal Search page. Select Name, Reg. No, Color or DOB and enter at least 3 characters to do your search.
3. Once the list comes up you can scroll through the data, and click on the name of the dog you are interested in seeing.
Advanced Search
The advanced search allows you to search on all the fields in the database. This gives you the ability to pull out information about all the dogs that have been entered, based on whatever criteria you’d like. You can search for a particular color, health test, diagnosis, country, etc…

2. Enter your search criteria into one or more of the fields. There is a scroll down bar on the right side of the search fields, which appears when you move your mouse to this area.

3. Click the down arrow to expand the pull downs for Health Tests, Health Diagnosis, shows, litter ads and Documents to be able to select search criteria within those fields.
4. Then click the button at the top of the page.
