How to Sign up for an Account
NOTE: The first section must be completed for the Free Standard Account and the Free Breeder/Owner Account.
How to Sign up for a Free Account
A Free Standard Account allows you to search, add pedigrees, edit dogs, make trial matings, check COI, print pedigrees, research, etc.
1. First click on Free sign up located under the Log In button
2. Next fill out all the required fields in this section.

Enter your E-mail Address

Enter your Country

Enter your Account Name – this name identifies your account. It can be your name, your dog’s name, your kennel name, etc., and it can also include numbers. Your Account Name is NOT your username, so won’t be required to sign in. Whenever you make changes or add a dog, this is the name that is shown to administrators when those changes are waiting to be approved.

Enter your Password - Your password is case sensitive. You can use uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. We do not have access to your password so if you forget, you can request to make another one.

If you DO NOT WANT to show your name as an owner or breeder of a dog on the pedigree, click the button “Sign up for a standard account” and you’re all set. Otherwise, continue to the next section.
How to Sign up for a Free Breeder/Owner Account
By completing this section, your name will be shown as owner and/or breeder of a dog. This also prevents someone else from adding or deleting your dog/s health information as there must be an owner of record for health diagnoses and tests.
If, as an owner, you put your Kennel’s name in the Kennel/Owner line it will be shown on the pedigree as OWNED by the “Kennel Name”.
If you want the pedigree to show you as the dog’s owner, leave the Kennel/Owner line blank and check the box in the next column “Show (also) my personal name” (the name you entered in the first section). Your name will then be listed as the dog’s owner and displayed as “Last name, first name”. [This is a program default.]
As a breeder and/or owner, you can opt to display as much information as you wish by checking the appropriate boxes:
I want a Public page - will show all your kennel/owner dogs on your public page. You can select the information that you would like displayed on your public page by checking the appropriate boxes below. You may also include additional information about your kennel in the Short Info box.
Add my name to the breeders list – will show you as a breeder.
Note: Photos and kennel information from Public Pages are randomly displayed on Pedigree Database’s Welcome Page.
Click the button “Sign up for a breeder/owner account” and you’re all set.
